Contractors.net.za operates as a lead-generation, referral, and service facilitation platform. We collect project-related information from users and share that information with independent contractors, service providers, or service teams in our network so that they may contact users directly regarding quotations, consultations, or services.

Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, SVCS Services does not itself perform the contractor work advertised through the platform, and is not the contracting party for the actual construction, renovation, repair, installation, or related services provided by third-party contractors.

5. Contractor Relationships

Any quotation, proposal, timeline, warranty, workmanship undertaking, or service agreement relating to actual contractor work is concluded directly between the user and the relevant third-party contractor, unless SVCS Services expressly states in writing that it is acting as the principal supplier for a specific project.

SVCS Services does not warrant or guarantee the performance, conduct, pricing, licensing status, workmanship, availability, or service quality of any third-party contractor, although we may screen, profile, or promote contractors on the platform.

6. User Obligations

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information when submitting enquiries.
• Use the platform only for lawful and genuine contractor or service-related requests.
• Not submit false, misleading, defamatory, abusive, or unlawful content.
• Acknowledge that contractors may contact you directly using the information you provide.

7. Privacy and Sharing of Information

By submitting an enquiry through this website, you consent to SVCS Services processing your personal information and sharing relevant details with selected contractors or service providers for the purpose of responding to your enquiry, providing quotations, arranging site visits, or discussing the requested services.

Your information will be handled in accordance with applicable South African data protection laws, including POPIA, and our Privacy Policy.

8. Invoicing and Trading Name Disclosure

You acknowledge that the website is operated under the trading name Contractors.net.za, but that invoices, statements, receipts, tax invoices, and formal legal documents may be issued in the name of SVCS Services (Pty) Ltd, or SVCS Services (Pty) Ltd t/a Contractors.net.za.

The use of the Contractors.net.za brand does not create a separate legal entity, and all platform-related rights and obligations remain those of SVCS Services (Pty) Ltd unless otherwise stated in writing.

9. Limitation of Liability

SVCS Services acts primarily as a platform operator and facilitator. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss, damage, delay, defect, injury, workmanship issue, dispute, or claim arising from or connected to services quoted for or performed by third-party contractors introduced through the platform.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SVCS Services (Pty) Ltd, trading as Contractors.net.za, including its directors, staff, affiliates, and agents, against any claims, losses, damages, or legal costs arising from your misuse of the platform, your breach of these Terms, or disputes between you and any third-party contractor.

11. No Misrepresentation of Affiliation

Nothing on this website should be interpreted as meaning that every contractor listed, marketed, or introduced is an employee, branch, division, or legal representative of SVCS Services. Contractors may be independent businesses or independent operators unless expressly stated otherwise.

12. Changes to Terms

We may amend these Terms from time to time. Updated terms will become effective when published on this page. Continued use of the website after publication of amended terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms and your use of the website are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any dispute arising from these Terms will be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts, subject to any consumer rights that may apply by law.
